James is absolutely amazing! We hired James a little over a year ago for our wedding! We were not getting married in our hometown so we decided to find someone in the town would get married in! We had our Engagement session with James this past June in Roanoke Virginia. We were nervous before going, because sometimes the first session with a new photographer can be a little uncomfortable. Ours was FAR from it! We had the absolute best time! Not to mention the pictures we got back from it were absolutely incredible. I could not recommend James more! Before our wedding James kept in touch and up to date with everything! This helped ease my anxiety before our big day. James arrived ahead of schedule on our wedding day and got started immediately! He is by far our favorite photographer that we have worked with and we will definitely be making trips to Roanoke in the future just to book sessions with him! We got our wedding pictures back and they are absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better! We highly recommend booking James!

James took senior-style pictures of my sophomore son to capture a stage of life. At the shoot, James was pleasant and joking with my son, while continuing to take pictures and change things up to keep my son engaged. As a result, James captured a variety of my son's typical expressions and personality in the photo series. I wanted to propose to my girlfriend at the top of McAfee Knob at sunrise and needed someone to capture the moment. James was without a doubt the man for the job. He hiked to the top starting at 2AM without question or complaint.
